Updates From Unlimited Sports 8/26/09
Fall is just around the corner and the Unlimited Sports crew is working hard getting ready for the Gold Cup Series to kick off at Gatorback September 12-13.  All rounds this year will be practice on Saturday.  Sunday morning we will have another round of practice before racing starts.

We have added two new tracks to the series this year.  Lake City Motocross Park is a brand new facility that is being managed by our long time friend and track builder, Jason Dodds.  Jason has the facility in top notch shape and the track will be fun and safe.  Lots of parking on the new planted grass lawn.  There are some electric hook ups there as well.

The other new track on the schedule this year is Sunshine Motocross in St. Petersburg.  This track was one time the host of the AMA Motocross National in Florida.  Frank Valente is the promoter there and they have re-designed the track for longer lap times and removed the buildings that were once close to the track.  So the track is very safe and fun now.  There is plenty of parking at Sunshine too.  The speedway that is connected to the motocross track facility is allowing us to use their parking.

At Gatorback, LakeCity, and Sunshine Saturday practice days, Ronnie Tichenor will be there and he will have a track walk with everyone that would like to learn from him his secrets on line selection.  Ronnie will also be giving away two months free RTMX online training to the winners of the overall series.  You don’t want to miss out on the knowledge that Ronnie will providing.   Dade City will be hosting the Red Bull Ride with James Stewart during Saturday’s practice day.  James will be at the track riding, signing autographs, taking pictures and just hanging out with the riders.

We are always striving to make things more convenient for the racers and their families.  A few of the things we have done recently have been the addition of the touch screen computers for sign up registration.  This cuts down on your time waiting in line to get registered and you know if your number is available before you leave the screen.

We started on line registration for the Mini O’s last  year and that worked really well.  We will be offering on line registration for the Gold Cup Series this year.  It will be up and running about a week before the first round.  We will also be set up to take Visa and Mastercard at all of the tracks this year for Saturday practice and Sunday races registration.

And finally, we have totally re-designed our website.  We will be updating it frequently and results, videos, and pictures will be uploaded on Monday after each race.  Please check it out at www.unlimitedsportsmx.com We look forward to seeing you again!
