Info about Easter Sunday.

If anyone is wondering about Easter, yes we will be open regular practice times Easter Sunday.
But if your plans conflict with coming out. Seminole MX hopes you and your family have a Happy Easter.

Practice for March 29th and 30th

Please read, and please pass the word along.
Practice times for March 29th and 30th are different times. These times are only for this week-end.
Saturday March 29th – 12pm to 6pm
Sunday March 30th – 10am to 4pm
This is due to the annual Cattle drive here in Big Cypress. But rather then closing on Saturday we have just adjusted the practice times. The times are adjusted on Sunday so we have enough time to prepare the tracks for Sunday’s practice.

Privateer Profile: Matt Boni

Privateers don’t have many of the luxuries that factory riders do. They don’t have their own tracks to ride on, they don’t have all their expenses paid for and they don’t have a fleet of people around them constantly helping out. For Matt Boni, even training has been a guessing game over the years and he often over-trained to the point of exhaustion. In fact, he fatigued himself so badly that he contracted Epstein Barr disease and Lyme disease during his transition from amateur racing to the pro ranks. I guess you could say he has Epstein Barr with a twist of Lyme disease. Still, despite the headwinds, Matt has forged on. And last weekend in Daytona he landed on the podium for the first time in his young career. He was the topic of yesterday’s Number Cruncher, and he’s the topic of today’s Privateer Profile.

It was so HOT yesterday, and I was not prepared at all.. I only had jeans to wear, no shorts.. My daughter Erica was visiting us yesterday from Orlando, and I had her on Pit Patrol, taking random pictures of the pits with my old D70 camera. I am hoping that she can attend more races and help me out a bit.
